How many moles of golf balls would it take to fill up the Gulf of Mexico?
I DO NOT understand how to illustrate, much less, even work out this problem?? Could someone good at Chemistry pleaseee explain??

You would need to know the volume of the gluf of mexico and the volume of a golf ball

I knew there were a lot of senile golfers in Florida, but geez.
Look up some statistics on the surface area of the Gulf of Mexico and the depth. Get some approximation for the volume. The balls should in theory be as closely packed as possible. Connect the radii of some balls to form a cube, and find out how many balls (adding up the fractions at corners, etc) are in one of these cubes. Get the cube’s volume in terms of golf ball radius, then use the radius of a golf ball to find the volume in something like cubic meters. You might be able to take it from here.
