Discovery Indicates that Ice Sheet once Thawed

Researchers from the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) have discovered very similar colonies of Bryozoans 1,500 miles apart on opposite sides of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, which is an indication that the ice sheet once thawed, creating a link between the Ross and Weddell Seas.
