Taiwan Issues Land Warning as Tropical Storm Approaches
Taiwan authorities issued a land and sea warning as tropical storm Lionrock approaches, the Taiwan’s Central Weather Bureau said in a statement on its website. Lionrock, with sustained winds up to 83 kilometers per hour, was 160 kilometers from Taiwan’s Erluapi as at 5:30 a.m. local time and was heading north with increasing speed, the statement said.
