Right? Around 5:15 is where Jim Leonard’s car was hit by the larger vortex to the right. I was about 10 feet away from the satellite tornado to the left here. Was pretty incredible, check my videos for the closeup of Those babies!

@ SkySparkDanne This tornado did go one point or wedge in it’s cycle, I did not Catch That part of it Because The storm got away from me when I was blocked by a telephone pole fell across the road That That I was on. I was traveling north when i saw Enid Straight Towards this? Exploding storm to my west. I kept going North Until The storm’s path and my path with at Wakita. Should I have stayed about 1 / 4 of a mile south of where I had stopped my truck. The storm took a turn to the right Slight on me.

I? Ma storm chaser from Gothenburg Swedenborg, a storm chaser and my friend from Oklahoma? Wakita were on this storm, we unfortanately was too far north east from this spot so we saw this through the rain Probably wrapping On That Side and it Looked like a wedge On That Time. It was an incredible storm, though but very Quickly fired just as the sun broke through the morning foggy clouds. The rotaion of the meso was awesome, this was the first season and the second chase chase after the May 2.

@ Chicago storm chase If you’re facing the storm and it’s coming at you or going to make a close pass by you, Will Usually you see the rain to the right of the wall cloud. Other thing is all this is happening Usually Towards the back of the storm. Keep in mind a supercell can make right turns When a tornado is forming. Chased this one here I was moving NE, then it Turned straight east. That’s why I had to leave. ? I wanted it to go right by me, but the storm Turned a tad more right than I expected.

In the start of this video, you can see the precipitation core off to the right, and the beginnings of a wall cloud to the left of it. That is not it true most tornadoes form close to the left edge of the precipitation core of a supercell thunderstorm? Most videos I have seen have Shown that. I am an amateur meteorologist / storm? chaser, and I would like an expert opinion on this. I need to know before I get caught off guard in a storm.

@ Irelandcool1 Never Decided to chase hurricanes, but I have 4 leg or thermal. One I Experienced? in Virginia, and the other 3 were in North Carolina. Chasing hurricanes is actually more dangerous than chasing tornadoes. You have to get to film it in the hurricane, but a tornado you can view Safely with out having to be in the storm. Bad part about hurricanes is the storm surge flooding and the, Which Is not a fun situation to be in.

It Turned Out That jcmegabyte @ i could have stayed in my spot, but it would have extremely hairy legs. Or some? the debris landed about 150 feet from the spot that i filmed this storm.

@ Cooliesass The Howling winds must be what you’re referencing to. I was smooth thats my camcorder was bootable to pick up That also. The wind was coming from behind me from my left side but Also, so it? All which did not directly hit the camcorder kept it from getting that “blowing on the mic” sound.
