The book is well written, but the reader needs a basic manual or a book weather forecast, the best book to get Captain Carr. Rating: 5.5

I learned quite well in books and taught me some very complex in this way. As a sailor, and technical staff to get some understanding of weather forecasting and understanding time, I still find difficult to assimilate the information. The author frequently uses the terms have not been established and their descriptions are often unclear what the understanding of the material frustrating. I read a second time, and always find that this is the case. For example, there is something “under the tub [top level],” and you need some way if he wants to understand in more detail at the equator, the wave level is from north to south or closer to the earth. With this book, there is no reason for cautious mariners to be surprised by imperfect weather forecasts or local conditions that general forecasts may not cover. Michael Carr, himself proved Mariner has developed this excellent educational reference for his shipmates. I urge you to read this book. This, in my book excerpt for Michael. This book is the result of years of research in an understandable approach to the worlds weather systems. It provides access to weather information aavailable sailors and skills to interpret. . making a precise and reliable routing. Michael has been teaching weather, routing, navigation and seamanship courses for Ocean Navigator for over 10 years and served as captain of our 90ft training schooner Star Ocean. It offers the experience and knowledge necessary to resist this new book valuable. And we have adopted the book as a basic text for our seminar Advanced Weather. It is a fascinating and well written. Michael’s book gets right to the essence of using satellite images, weather charts and information text. It is on all ships must be on board and will be used permanently.
