After leading New Hampshire Republicans to the promised land, what will John H. Sununu do next? The former governor is not saying, yet, but if he decides to go out on top, who will be in the running to take his place? The first name to come up is former U.S. Senate candidate Jim Bender.

Hurricane Igor has exploded into a major hurricane as expected and is moving on a westward path. Our main concern at this point is that we are thinking this storm could take a more southern and westward track. This would take the storm more toward the United States and possibly make a landfall in the United States. Right now, it is too early to tell, but it is definitely a good possibility. If you are in Bermuda, you need to watch this storm because forecast models are taking it your way. Regardless of the track, it is a very powerful storm, and we are going to continue to watch it here at firsthandweather.com. Also, TD 12 will soon become Tropical Storm Julia, and the area in the Caribbean will eventually become Karl and go into the Gulf of Mexico. We will continue to watch the tropics extremely closely. Join us on our Facebook page to ask us any questions that you may have.
